How to create a commercial and schedule its broadcast
Commercials are created from already registered and transcoded files in the system. Their status is Transcoded and their status icon is . Open the Commercials tab in the Content menu and select the desired file from the Content drop down menu:
After a content is selected, the first field Name will be automatically filled with the name of the chosen file.
You can select the channels, in which the commercial will be broadcasted, in the next option Channels.
Each device must have one video or audio channel. One channel can be broadcasted on more than one devices.
After selecting the channels, on which the commercial will be broadcasted, you need to set a start and end broadcast date, i.e. the commercial will be planned for broadcast only in this period, after that it will expire and be marked in red:
If the locations and devices where the channel will be broadcasted have a worktime, you can set it in the Active hours field. This way you can ensure that if the commercial is broadcasted ten times a day, it will be within the workhours and it will be seen by the audience.
The option Active days defines the days of the week in which the commercial will be broadcasted. For example, if you wish to broadcast two commercials in different days, you can set of them to Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and the other to Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
You can add Tags to the commercial to ease your search. If you have more than one commercial which refers to a certain product, you can set the same tag for each of them and search by it in the search bar in the upper left corner of the page.
The option Hardware tags contains a list of existing hardware tags. If you set such tag to the commercial, it will only be broadcasted on devices that have the commercial's channel and that tag.

Selecting the options as shown in the figures above will ensure that the commercial will be broadcasted on the specific devices.
The next option Repetitions is where you can specify the number of broadcasts of the commercial. You can choose between a number of broadcasts per hour, broadcast the commercial once every X minutes, a total number of broadcasts for the period (this option does not guarantee the same number of broadcasts for every day of the period) or you can manually input a fixed time (times) in which the commercial will be broadcasted every day:
The last two fields are Campaign and Remark where you can enter additional information as free text. The search option in the upper left corner of the page also searches in the Campaign field, i.e. if you have more than one commercial related to the same campaign and you enter its name in the search field, it will return all commercials of the campaign.
